Description: The golden bamboo lemur is a gold-colored nocturnal primate that lives in the bamboo forests of Madagascar. Like many lemurs and many primates, the golden bamboo lemur moves through the forest by leaping and swinging from branch to branch in the tree canopy. This species is threatened by environmental toxins and habitat loss.
